Restoration tomorrow along Colma Creek
Yet one more post from me today.
Yes, yes, tomorrow is another work day at San Bruno Mountain. I'll be getting up early and taking public transit again. It's fun! Join me!
"Hello Heart of the Mountain volunteers, come out tomorrow and help us restore native
habitat along Colma Creek from 10:00 AM to 12:30.
Our future workdays will be on June 28, July 12 & 26, August 9th & 23rd.
Workdays start at 10:00 AM and go to 12:30 PM with a ten minute break with snacks
provided.
WHAT TO WEAR to the Saturday workday:
Warm, layered clothing
Sturdy shoes or hiking boots
WHAT TO BRING:
A liter of water
Gloves will be provided.
WHAT ABOUT RAIN?
A little rain won't stop us, but we may cancel events due to continuous rain. You can find out by calling the number below on the morning of the scheduled event. If no one is available to answer in person, up-to-date information is available as a recorded message.

WHERE: San Bruno Mountain State and County Park
>From the Peninsula: Take Highway 101 north to the Brisbane/Cow Palace Exit. You will merge onto Bayshore Blvd. Stay on Bayshore for four traffic lights. You will come to Guadalupe Canyon Parkway. Turn left. Stay on the parkway for 2 miles. (You will go past the first light which is Carter Street.) Watch carefully for the park entrance on your right. The main parking lot is just past the ranger entrance station. Entrance fee waived for volunteers.
>From 280 North: Take Highway 280 north to the Mission Street Exit and go left at the first light. Go right on San Pedro Rd. Cross Mission Street (with Wendys on your right) and you are on E. Market Street. It turns into Guadalupe Canyon Parkway. Stay on the parkway until you see the park entrance on your left. Turn left and go past the ranger entrance station into the main parking lot on your right. Entrance fee waived for volunteers
